Every single fear in relationships are brought out when the couple becomes intimate with each other. The couple will join together
for intimate journeys on love, friendship, accountability, or what have you. When that intimate connection has been made, you find exactly
who you are and in a sense, what you are made of. Some individuals decide to stay closed in to themselves most of their lives which involve
hiding aspects of themselves from friends, family, teachers, etc. There is without a doubt, a test in personality and you are stressed
inside and out from your partner that you are intimate with. While this may seem like a bad thing, it is not. At this new level, you have a
partner to help you get familiar with your real self and vice versa, it just takes a little bit of getting used to. Much of fear in
relationships suffers from this one drawback and they decide to run. Remember, this is a blessing, not a curse.
Most examples of fear in relationships tend to let its pride get in the way. Many people may tell you that pride is a great thing
to have, but in reality, it is not. Pride can kill your relationship, and ruin other aspects in your life as well. In an intimate
relationship, you cannot let your pride get in the way. Pride will be the cause of you not letting your partner stretch you and really get
to know who you are. Its okay, the fear of letting your pride down and being vulnerable to your significant other is normal, but it is
needed. Do not let this fear in relationships break you a part. Just remember that you may find yourself very confused, do not turn to
yourself or you may find yourself cutting your partner out of your life. This is bad.
Fear in relationships cause individuals to run and hide in a deep dark hole where there is no one else around to bother them. We
do not like to deal with our fears and if we are forced to hit them head on, the chances of letting someone help us tend to be slim to
none. What can fear cause you to do? Well, a few examples would be:
· If you are single, being too busy to date
· Working overtime out of the blue
· Not having time for your partner anymore
· Getting on the defense real fast
· Stop listening
· Get angry easy
· Perhaps you may find yourself doing what you used to do to solve problems.
