Don’t hangout with other friends
who are currently broke up thinking that they will understand you better and that they will make a great company. This will not help you in
moving forward. You will end up harping on each other’s pain. The other person who is currently broke up will not be a support to you, he or
she will only be a burden to you emotionally and you will end up shouldering their breakup pain as well. You will also end up thinking that no
relationships will work for you. Make it a point to hangout with people who are having a successful relationship. This will make your more
optimistic.
When you are in the process of
figuring out how to get over a relationship, you must come to terms with hate. Don’t consider yourself a saint. You are more likely to hate
the person who dumped you and who has caused so much of misery in your life. Never deny your negative feelings. Instead, of trying to fight
your negative feelings try to concentrate on positive feelings. When you fight hard to get rid of your negative feelings all your
concentration is on those feelings that you would like to get rid off and ironically instead of getting weak, these negative feelings only get
reinforced when you fight hard. By giving room for positive feelings, you will soon be able to get over your relationship.
For some people, writing down
their feelings works. They express all their bottled up emotions on the paper and this brings the person who is struggling how to get over a

Finally, never rush into another relationship to spite the other person who dumped you. This will not be a healthy way of getting
